Films: Whoever Slew Auntie Roo? (1972)
Alias: Rosie Forrest
Type: Natural
Location: Haunted Home
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: An orphanage has its ups and downs. On one hand, you can meet a lot of like-minded folks who lost something dear to them. On the other, you can meet some particularly nasty people. It's pretty bad when said person is the one running the place.
History: Rosalie "Auntie Roo" Forrest runs the Forrest Grange orphanage, seemingly with all the care and adoration required to do so. But she has some nasty skeletons in her closet. For she still keeps the remains of Katharine, her deceased little girl. Even worse, an orphan named Kathy Coombs is her target of attention due to her uncanny resemblance to her daughter. Let the (further) descent into insanity begin.
Notable Kills: None.
Final Fate: Roo's dementia reaches a high, and as Kathy and her brother escape, she brandishes a cleaver to pursue them. But the twins trap her in the kitchen as they set fire to the place, taking her riches and their freedom as Roo perishes in the flames.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 2.5-Roo is a bit too soft in terms of insanity to be called a threat. She's actually a bit pathetic, considering this all stems from the loss of her beloved child. At least she didn't kill anyone...almost kill anyone, at least.
Trivia: -Auntie Roo was played by Shelley Winters, an actor known for her 5-decade career, with roles in films like "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "Pete's Dragon".
-This whole film is meant to be a retelling of the "Hansel and Gretel" story, though Roo's true villainy in the witch role is ambiguous.
